A clear scope before a price
Included transport legs
Require separate lines for pickup, export handling, main carriage and delivery so omissions and double charges can be identified.
Taxes and professional services
Separate government charges from clearance service fees. An all-in description still needs written inclusions, exclusions and payer details.
Conditional delivery charges
Confirm treatment of storage, failed delivery, waiting and special unloading when the recipient cannot accept the planned handover.
Door delivery does not automatically include import duties or taxes. DDP requests require explicit feasibility and written confirmation.

Identify the missing item, responsible person and deadline. Recheck arrival and storage implications before continuing the delivery plan.
Scope changes after booking
Request a revised scope and cost breakdown for a new address or responsibility split before approving the change.
Service questions
Does door-to-door include taxes?
Not automatically. Tax payment and import responsibilities must be expressly confirmed in the written quotation.
Can I use my own customs contact?
Yes, subject to coordination. Define the document handoff, release notification and point where delivery responsibility starts.
Does one quote mean one operator?
Different operators may handle different legs. The scope should make coordination and each handover responsibility clear.
