Use a single currency
Convert all confirmed amounts into the selected currency before entering them. Keep the exchange rate and date in your own comparison notes; changing the currency selector does not convert existing amounts.
Enter amounts from your supplier, forwarder and customs adviser in a single currency. Leave unknown items blank; zero means confirmed no charge. This tool sums your inputs and does not calculate or retrieve tax rates.
Separate unknown from zero
Leave a charge blank when it has not been confirmed; enter zero only when no charge has been confirmed. A subtotal with missing items cannot tell you the complete landed cost, even when the international freight is known.
Check for overlap
Ask whether the freight quote already includes pickup, destination handling or delivery before adding these separately. Duties and taxes must come from a confirmed external assessment; this tool does not determine classification or tax rates.
