Describe the product precisely
Disclose batteries, liquids, powders, chemicals, magnets and other unusual characteristics before requesting transport. Provide the product name, use, composition and manufacturer specifications. Ordinary consumer goods may still require transport or import review; a generic name such as accessories is insufficient.

Battery status changes the review
Identify whether batteries are shipped separately, packed with equipment or installed in it. Supply chemistry, ratings and the documents requested by the carrier. Damaged, defective or recalled batteries require particular attention; never describe them as ordinary cargo to bypass checks.

Separate transport approval from import approval
Carrier acceptance does not establish permission to import the goods into Israel. Confirm any product-specific requirements with the responsible customs professional. Temperature-sensitive and oversized cargo also need measurable handling limits and suitable equipment, not just a special-cargo checkbox.
